- Temple is open from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM in April to September, and 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM in October to March.
- The Central Temple is open to the public free of charge on the 21st (Daishi-e) and 22nd (Taishi-e) of each month, as well as during Spring Higan-e (March) and Autumn Higan-e (September).
- Entry to the grounds is free.
- Separate fees apply for the temple buildings, Gokuraku-jodo Garden, and Treasure House.
- Modest clothing is recommended. Avoid shorts or overly casual attire when visiting sacred areas.
- Consuming food and drinks is prohibited in the temple grounds, except in designated picnic or rest areas.
- Smoking is not allowed, except in designated smoking areas.
