Easy to reach by train and lots of space to walk around. The cherry blossom trees must look incredible in spring. Museum is good if you like samurai and Japanese history.

Loved walking through the park and up to the castle. The museum inside gives a good overview of Osaka’s history, and the top floor observatory has amazing city views.

The castle and the surrounding park are stunning, especially in good weather. The inside is more like a museum, so don’t expect a fully preserved historical interior. Still worth the visit for the views.
