Moco Museum (Modern Contemporary) is an independent art museum founded in 2016 by Dutch art lovers Lionel and Kim Logchies, housed in Villa Alsberg — a 1904 mansion designed by Eduard Cuypers, nephew of Pierre Cuypers (architect of the Rijksmuseum and Amsterdam Central Station). Rather than a sprawling institution, Moco offers an intimate, curated journey through modern, contemporary, and street art, featuring icons like Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Jeff Koons, and Keith Haring alongside street-art heavyweights Banksy, Yayoi Kusama, KAWS, and JR.
